I really like the quick heat up, the rounded edges. I would like to be able to lock the heat setting because I keep accidentally moving it, while I'm doing waves. Very luxurious bag and love the heat mat. I live in a very humid area and I find I don't get the frizzies later in the day after straightening it.

I have been a devoted GHD user for 15+ years. Mainly because my pink GHD lasted that long! It was a great product and very reliable. Was going to purchase another to replace it, however, my hairdresser recommended Hot Tools. Wow! This is certainly an upgrade! Temperature control, shiny hair and easy to use given its rounded shape. My hair doesn’t get caught in the plates (something I did see happen on other brand product reviews). I do hope it will prove to be as robust and reliable as my old GHD, however time will tell.

I have always used other straightening iron brands however recently I noticed hairdressers in the salon I go to using the Hot Tools brand. When my own iron's started to fail I thought I would try the Hot Tools irons and I am so impressed! I have quite curly hair and even when left to dry naturally it was easier to straighten than it usually is. My hair was so much shinier after straightening and it was super easy to add some waves to it. I am loving it!
